Mafosira  printing and publishing jobs include preparation and printing the Population Census 2010 questionnaire booklets for the Government of Trinidad and Tobago.

Census Project -
Mafosira is previously  providing the 2010 National Population and Housing Census questionnaire booklets for the Central Statistical Office (CSO) of the Government of Trinidad and Tobago.   This projects entails the creation of a census booklet via a template provided by Trinidad and Tobago's CSO.   This project entails several special features that go beyond printing a normal booklet.  Due to the nature of collecting the statistics for this project it is necessary for these documents to be machine-readable and incorporate the means to account for each and every booklet and for every page in the booklet and the corresponding person to which each census document is assigned.  This is accomplished via the use of a dual bar coding system.  Each questionnaire has a unique bar code (EAN-13 ) which is unique to that particular questionnaire booklet and is readable by a OCR scanning system.  In addition each page has a page number bar code. The questionnaires are printed on both sides, micro perforated and bound.  This particular document for Trinidad and Tobago consists of twenty one pages exclusive of the covers, printed on white bond paper which is acid free and insect protected.   The books are micro perforated for the ease of separation for scanning into the tabulating systems. The material used in the Census booklets have a guarantee of 10 years on both the paper and the cover stock.   This project involved a number of technological challenges in the printing process, all of which were successfully overcome by Mafosira in enabling us to successfully execute the contract to supply the government of Trinidad and Tobago's 2010 National Population Census questionnaire booklets.
